A visionary leader in gastronomy who aims to bring the deep-rooted values of traditional Turkish cuisine together with the demands of today’s world. Born in 1967 in Birecik, Şanlıurfa, he is married and the father of four. Bingöl has built his career on a mission to preserve Turkish culinary culture and pass it on to future generations. As a Member of the Presidential Council on Agriculture and Food Policies and the President of TÜRES (the All Restaurants and Suppliers Association), he plays an active role in shaping policies for the sector. Through multifaceted projects in media, education, and civil society, he views Turkish cuisine not merely as a gastronomic discipline but also as a bearer of cultural identity and a sense of belonging. Believing that food carries a cultural memory beyond taste, Bingöl steadfastly continues his efforts to increase the global visibility of Turkish gastronomy.
